The Health Insurance Authority works to implement Iraq’s Health Insurance Law and build an integrated health insurance system that reduces the financial burden of healthcare on citizens. Its services include electronic health insurance cards, beneficiary management, electronic medical records, appointment services, digital claims and payment processes, and coordination with hospitals, medical centers, laboratories, pharmacies, and healthcare providers across the public and private sectors. The Authority also supports the expansion of health insurance coverage across Iraqi governorates.
