Eng. Ali Yaseen Dawood

Eng. Ali Yaseen Dawood is the Director General of the Informatics & Telecommunications Public Company (ITPC), one of the key companies under Iraq’s Ministry of Communications. He leads major national telecommunications and digital infrastructure initiatives, including the development of fiber-optic networks, international connectivity, subsea cable projects, transit routes, and cooperation with regional and global telecom operators. His current work includes advancing Iraq’s international cable connectivity and supporting projects with major regional operators, with a focus on strengthening Iraq’s position as a regional digital transit hub, attracting global content providers, and expanding the country’s telecommunications infrastructure.
