Dr. Raghad Al-Shabandar is the Director of the National Artificial Intelligence Center at the Prime Minister’s Office in Iraq. Her work focuses on advancing national AI initiatives, supporting AI policy and strategy development, and promoting AI adoption across public institutions. She also contributes to capacity building, youth empowerment, and the integration of AI education into schools and universities. She holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Liverpool John Moores University in the United Kingdom.
