The Information Technology Department at Iraq’s Ministry of Finance is a specialized service department that provides IT consultancy and technology solutions, analyzes business requirements, develops implementation plans, and supports digital transformation initiatives across the Ministry. It also designs and monitors electronic systems for Ministry departments, with the implementation of an Integrated Financial Management Information System identified as one of its core objectives.
